With our seven day tour the aim is to explore the Western an Eastern Cape of South Africa. Also starting from Greyton where we leave from Barnards Hotel, the first day of the tour is the same as the 14 day route and it takes us up into the Klein Karoo along the famous biking route 62.

After a good lunch we ride over the Rooiberg mountain pass to our first nights stop in De Rust, a very charming little Karoo town. De Rust is always a memorable stop for tourists and has extremely pleasant surroundings. We set off from her into a beautiful valley called Die Hell, where we ride to the end along a dirt road to our next nights stop.

The valley of Die Hell is a one way in and the same way out road, where we settle down at the end of the road for the night, where the feeling is that of being tucked away in deepest Africa. We ride the next day out Die Hell and move off to the Cango Caves where we explore the caves and enjoy a well deserved meal.

After lunch we set off for Baviaanskloof and make our way to the next nights stop, here we get to experience luxury tree house living set in the Baviaanskloof mountains. The next day is an early start as we ride for the Baviaanskloof reserve. The reserve has a lot to offer with excellent views, wild antelope and game to see as we journey through.

7day_tour_1 Once we arrive at the other end we stop in Patensie a thriving little farming town. Here we enjoy yet another good lunch before setting off down the N2 towards Knysna. The wilderness is our next nights stop and again it is a welcomed rest ,with all your troubles left behind in Baviaanskloof it is easy to settle down and relax.

The next morning takes us up to the famous Knysna Heads for our lunch stop. Where we get to sit at the top and view the Indian Ocean rushing in through the Knysna Heads into the lagoon .After our stop we leave for the Bontebok National Park for some more awesome game viewing, and here we enjoy another night in the wild. This National Park is abundant with wildlife and also offers some great sights with loads to photograph.

From here we leave for Hermanus the seaside town famous for its whales. This is the last stop of the tour where we settle down for the evening and enjoy the sea air. Hermanus is always well worth visiting and there is plenty of time to see all the sights in the morning before we set off on our final journey back to our base in Greyton which is only 90 km away.

As with all our tours, the back up van is always there, with a full medical emergency kit and our bike trailer should anyone feel they need to take a break. Your guide also has a first aid certificate as well as an extensive knowledge in motorcycle maintenance.

The 7 day tour is a great way to spend 1 week riding around and enjoying the finest the Western and Eastern Cape has to offer.
